Smart phones are becoming mass market, mainly driven by Iphone. With prices coming down and the introduction of a wider selection of handsets (see Android OS based mobile telephones), the shift towards a smart phone mass market is happening faster than expected. For us, with a more value driven customer base, this provides us with an interesting opportunity. Why? Demand for mobile data is increasing, also for handset customers and data represented 40 percent of the revenue growth in the residential mobile market 2009 (Ref. PTS). And through more attractivly prices smart phones, we now have a better chance in participating in this development.
